dtac TriNet Pays Installments for 700 MHz and 900 MHz Spectrum License Fees

January 6, 2023 – dtac TriNet paid the 3rd installment for the 700 MHz spectrum license fee, for a sum of THB 1,881,488,000 including VAT, together with a bank guarantee covering the outstanding balance of THB 6,585,208,000 including VAT. The company also paid the 5th installment for the 900 MHz spectrum license fee, for a sum of THB 4,072,848,000 including VAT, together with a bank guarantee covering the outstanding balance of THB 10,385,762,400 including VAT.  The payments were made to the NBTC on 6 January 2023. dtac has deployed its 700 MHz low-frequency band nationwide to expand coverage and capacity of its network as part of a strategy to bring high-speed internet for an enhanced customer experience. dtac focuses on continually improving and developing its network for high-speed internet services and expanding its network for increased coverage. So far, dtac has installed more than 18,800 base stations on its 5G 700 MHz network as of Q3/2022, making 5G available in all 77 provinces of Thailand. January 1, 2023 – dtac unveils top 10 most popular destinations, 10 provinces with the highest data usage, and 10 most frequently used apps on New Year's Eve 2022. The records show that peak data usage occurred between 20:00 – 21:00 hrs. on December 31.
