dtac Launches Facebook Mobile Center and Text-Only Facebook
28 February 2022 – dtac is forging ahead towards digital growth by partnering with Meta to launch Facebook Mobile Center and text-only Facebook.
Facebook Mobile Center is a customer engagement channel within the Facebook app that dtac is launching to provide its customers with seamless mobile data purchasing and customer service experiences. Within Facebook Mobile Center, dtac customers will be able to check their balances, explore and purchase data packages, check out special promotions, chat with dtac customer service agents and more, without leaving the Facebook app.
Text-only Facebook enables dtac customers to stay connected with a text-only version of Facebook and Messenger when they run out of data until they can top up their data balance again. With text-only Facebook, dtac customers can message, post, comment, like or share text-based content with their friends and families without consuming their data bundles.
