Innovative partnership allows 14 million PT Max cardholders to get dtac Prepaid SIMs while filling up

New distribution model connects PT Max cardholders to dtac prepaid products and Jaidee services at PT service stations nationwide

29 September 2020 – dtac is reinventing its distribution model for the new normal through a partnership with PTG Energy, the operator of PT service stations and a full-circle energy leader in Thailand. Fourteen million PT Max card holders can collect a dtac prepaid “Termsuk SIM” for free when getting gas, gaining access to the dtac network and dtac Reward loyalty program. Using a QR code, they can complete the SIM registration online. The collaboration therefore fits customers’ evolving lifestyles, with fast-growing mobile usage upcountry and the rapid adoption of touchless, self-serve services.

PT Max card holders who purchase gas at 725 participating PT gas stations nationwide can redeem 1 point to get their free dtac prepaid “Termsuk SIM” packed with 52 GB of internet connectivity, up to 200 baht in top up bonus and 20 free minutes of dtac number calling—plus the special privileges of the dtac Reward loyalty program. Available from today through 30 November 2020.

The SIM card registration can be performed by the customers themselves, simply by scanning the QR code on the SIM card packaging or the accompanying user manual.
