dtac Works with Shopee to Launch a Campaign for Online Shoppers as a 2020 New Year’s Gift for Prepaid Customers

December 9, 2019Chatchanun Wiwattanavarang, Head of Prepaid Thai Segment at Total Access Communication PLC, or dtac (left) , together with Suchaya Paleewong Marketing Manager, Shopee (Thailand) or Shopee (right) launched “dtac x Shopee,” a campaign for new prepaid customers catered to meet the demand for finding gifts for the coming New Year, Valentine’s Day, and Chinese New Year in 2020. New customers who register for Happy Net SIM cards will receive a 50-baht discount that can be used with any online purchase on Shopee. This campaign starts now until February 28, 2020.

dtac launched the Happy Net SIM card in November this year and has received positive feedback since then. The success of the Happy Net SIM card rests with the fact that it is truly catered to meet the needs of prepaid customers, emphasizing on the use of the internet for integrated entertainment: social media, entertainment content, and online shopping. Prepaid customers these days do not limit their choices of entertainment available on the internet. Aside from watching movies and listening to music, online shopping is part of their entertainment as well according to the growth in online shopping in Thailand.
