dtac TriNet Pays 900 MHz and 1800 MHz Spectrum License Fees

December 29, 2021 – dtac TriNet has paid 4,072,848,000 Baht for the 4th installment of the 900 MHz spectrum license fee and 3,346,692,500 Baht for the 4th and final installment of the 1800 MHz spectrum license fee to NBTC. dtac acquired the licenses after making the winning bids for them. dtac continues to expand our network for a superlative user experience, serving all frequency ranges – low, mid, and high – for voice and data service coverages nationwide.

For the 900 MHz spectrum, dtac TriNet Co., Ltd., won bidding with 38.064 billion Baht (excluding VAT) for 1 allotment of 2X5 MHz bands of 890-895 and 935-940 MHz. Payments are divided into 10 installments, with the latest installment – the 4th payment – amounting to 4,072,848,000 Baht. Remaining installments shall be paid in subsequent years assuring the rights to operate the 900 MHz bands for a period of 15 years, or through 2033.

For the 1800 MHz spectrum, dtac TriNet Co., Ltd., won bidding with 12.511 billion Baht (excluding VAT) for 1 allotment of 2X5 MHz bands of 1745-1750 and 1840-1845 MHz for an operation period of 15 years, or through 2033. The 4th and final installment amounting to 3,346,692,500 Baht has now been paid to the NBTC.

In the 700 MHz spectrum, we have 20 MHz bandwidth, 900 MHz 10 MHz, 1800 MHz 10 MHz, 2100 MHz 30 MHz, and 2300 MHz 60 MHz with our network partner NT. We also operate on the high 26 GHz 200 MHz spectrum.”
