- dtac readies high-speed internet for Central Vaccination Center
May 24, 2021 – dtac supports the efforts by the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Transport to use the Central Vaccination Center as a major COVID-19 inoculation center. dtac is deploying mobile base stations to bolster high-speed internet connectivity at the Central Vaccination Center at Bang Sue Central Station and transportation hubs connecting to it, including Victory Monument, Central Plaza Ladprao, BTS Morchit, and Chatuchak Park.
The Central Vaccination Center is located on the first floor of the Bang Sue Central Station with an area of 14,294 sqm. Opening May 24, this is set to be a temporary COVID-19 vaccination center with a capacity to inoculate 900 persons per hour or 10,000 persons per day.

With details to be announced shortly, it is expected dtac customers will be able to register themselves and two additional members of their household for vaccination via dtac’s channels, such as the dtac App, dtac website and dtac Halls.
Moreover, dtac deployed additional teams and resources to ensure optimized network performance nationwide, particularly at field hospitals across the country.
