dtac prepares mobile network for spectators of historic Royal Barge Procession on Dec 12

Dec 10, 2019 – Total Access Communications Plc or dtac has doubled its mobile signal capacities along the Chao Phraya river in preparations for the Royal Barge Procession set on Dec 12, where crowds are expected to witness the beauty and ancient culture of Thailand.

Prathet Tankuranun, Chief Technology Officer, Total Access Communication PLC or dtac, said: “On this special occasion as part of the year-long celebration of His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn’s coronation, dtac is ready to provide the full capacity of its mobile networks in support of this auspicious event’s spectators. dtac has doubled its capacity and added temporary sites, mobile units as well as small antennas along the journey, which is set to start from Tha Wasukri Royal Pier in the Dusit district and end at Wat Arun Wanaram, on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River.”
